I'm gona be the next ninja mask raider!
Why? Cus I just got a job at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH). LOLX! So
MASK up everyone!
Well, the swine flu protection at hospitals are not as scary as everyone deem TTSH to be. Yes, people are masking up and taking temperatures before they enter into the hospitals ...but its just it! Nothing more than that. At the same time, I totally understand the fear of swine flu and it's deadly effects. However, I feel that so long one has proper immunization, protection, always take note to sneeze onto tissues and wash hands regularly. I don't see why everyone should be so paranoid. This is more of a personal hygiene battle than any others.
At such poor economic times like this, I am well glad that at least I've got a job. I know that some people view that in such dangerous times, whats with the swine flu going on killing so many people in Mexico and such. One should reject the offer of a job that requires you to travel frequently or even in places where there is a high chance of disease transmission. However, we are now in a "dog eat dog" world. Whereby if you are not willing to perform up to mark, out you go! That's the real world now. Especially so that the economy is at its poorest peak yet, plus with the swine flu, the world really do look quite dull.
For the swine flu fear, apparently there are reports of people getting cured and all. The cause of cure is still unconfirmed but do try to have your flu immunization. That would help in decreasing your chances of getting swine (or maybe help you confirm that you have swine since it's a new strain and all..ahahah). Like I said before, this is more of a personal hygiene battle than any others. I am sure we are much better prepared than the last flu battle ever since the SARS lesson a few years back. So very much like the practices of SARS, it is important to have good personal hygiene like sneezing onto tissues, washing your hands often and making sure that you do not touch your face or your food with bare hands. That way, it would help to decrease the probability of getting infected.
I've gota go now...time to spy on my neighbours with my new supersonic eyes! HAhaha
