Omg..Omg!
ONE MORE DAY to
Uniqlo's Opening day!!!

One more day and I can't go out, getting all crazy over Uniqlo! The only comfort I had is probably when I went Hong Kong a few weeks back, I managed to grab as many Uniqlo and H&M stuff when I was there (
well, that's one of my reasons for going there anyway..hahaha).
Some ads from Uniqlo:

Ok. For those who do not know what or who is Uniqlo. Well, they are a mid-priced Japanese fashion retail giant that sells trendy, fashion-forward clothing that are sometimes designed by famous fashion designers.
Sometimes anyway! Like
H&M, one of the largest hottest Swedish clothing company that is known for its affordable fashion forward clothing with some designers designed clothings popping over there for them (
eg: Karl Lagerfeld from Chanel for H&M?).Oh! Did I mention that
BOTH H&M and Uniqlo is stated to have shops opening at Ion Orchard (
the new mall next to Wisma Atria that is now under construction?). Ion Orchard is stated to open in July so that means
3 MORE (
or 2)
months to go!!! Yay! More shops!!! Well, initially H&M was stated to open at the same time with Banana Republic (
which is currently residing now at Paragon for quite a long time now) but apparently with some change of plans, they are only opening later. Oh well, better late than never right?! -
screams in glee!- Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait!!!

They are extremely popular with the fashion conscious and the trendy while being affordable for the masses. Kind of like Zara and Topshop? Prices are around the same too with exception to perhaps Uniqlo, their men's shirts are much cheaper and with better quality. Then again, I can't say much for the Singapore's branch for its a partnership with Wing Tai Asia = may mark up for profits? For the information that I have now, their Polo tops are priced at $29.90 while their Jeans are priced at $69.90. So it's kind of affordable in terms of Singapore's clothing price range. Cheaper than the usual Zara, Topshop and Selfridge anyway! Their clothing quality is seriously quite good, I've personally owned some of them so I can totally vouch for it. I will check it out myself soon and try to convince my eyes to heal quickly (
I did epi-lasik last week, so I am not scheduled to see properly till like....3 months later? Kind of like a blind bat typing furiously away on the PC?)Anyway, enough of my poor plight (
cus if I were to go on, I might start drowning myself in self-pity - eg: I just threw away a TTSH interview and told Covance that I can't start work immediately because I can't see very well yet? Felt suicidal after that. LOLX).
I will update with you soon if I do get the allowance (
not in terms of $monetary$) to get out of the house and see some pretty clothes. OH myyyyy....I'm getting all dusty already from staying at home all day!!!
Cya!
