I'm having insomnia.........@.@ <-- goggled panda eyes from no sleep.

Insomnia: difficulty initiating or/& maintaining sleep
Due to:
- inadequate quality or quantity of sleep,
- Jet lag,
- Changes in shift work,
- Excessive or unpleasant noise,
- Uncomfortable room temperature (too hot or too cold),
- Stressful situations in life (exam preparation, unemployment, etc),
- Presence of an acute medical or surgical illness or hospitalization
- Withdrawal from drug, alcohol, sedative, or stimulant medications
- psychological problems (anxiety, stress, etc
Types:
- less than one week = transient insomnia,
- between one to three weeks = short-term insomnia,
- longer than three weeks = chronic insomnia.
Can you believe how many kinds of people in the world could have insomnia? I know my mom have it cus of her medicine and medical problems. But ME? A healthy, 20 odd something in-between (not an adult cus still need parental signatures? not a teen cus am legal to do most sins and get caught officially?)? It's terrible! If I don't curb this soon, the next thing you see would be me popping some sleeping pills in exchange for a good night sleep (I wish i could now if not i'll be here every night at this time blogging)!
OMG! I need my sleep! Like really QUICKLY? Looking from the above, I should be suffering from chronic insomnia that is probably due to stressful situations in life (previously in school), withdrawal from drug (from previous eye surgery), stressful situations in life again (am looking for a job now since I can see better so as to remove my boredom and excess energy) and of course too much sleep + rest. So this means I need to WORK IT!
I'm like this poor sod now....

I've always admired those who can just hit the bed and go snoring into the night without much of a dream or effort? It's sooo blissful! Just lie on the bed and konk out! The next thing that happens would be bird chirping gleefully on your windowsill, calling out to the world in bright sunshine. The ultimate bliss. Something which till date, I can't recall I've ever did managed to get a dreamless sleep before. I did managed to konk out a few times due to sheer tiredness (
like juggling more than 10 task at a single time kind of stuff?). I think I have far too much energy and too wild an imagination hence I'm always dreaming before I even hit the bed, resulting in sleepless nights!
Looking at Google's results to curb insomnia, I have to first remove the underlying worry (
which is like so many? I'll start with getting my bum to work!) then seek for medical or psychiatric
care (
and soon you can find a new excuse to tour the woodbridge hospital! How quaint!). The advices are so okay-helpful only? I'll definitely be working on the underlying cause but for the medical and psychiatric care? That's going
faaarrr off the hook. I'm definitely
not insane (
yes. I'm not kidding, I'm definitely sane! So no woodbridge tours for ya)!
So....Does anyone know of any good ways to sleep better? Like
really fall asleep kind of method???
