Happy belated birthday to SK!It's kind of terrible as a friend to celebrate for a good friend's birthday late. However, due to my poor sight, they all sweetly sacrificed and celebrated later
(such great friends! =D). So to make the day more special, we went to a Korean restaurant at Suntec called Shillawon and then proceed for some drinks at Orgo - the new kid on the block!.
Shillawon was good. If you order the buffet set (which is $13.90 on weekdays and $19.90 on weekends), it is super worth it cus you can order everything on the buffet menu for as much as you can eat. Kind of like a more high class Seoul Garden? Whereby people serve you your orders instead of you going to the aisle and pick the food. If you choose to order the ala carte meals instead, there are people standing by your barbecue pan, serving and barbecuing your food for you. It's kind of cool. However, food wise, it was not very interesting and not much worth to mention except for the soups which are quite good. Anyway, at the end of the story, SK was pretty happy with her dinner party and that's the most important thing for the organisers to know. =)

After Shillawon, we proceed to Orgo. The new bar at the Esplanade roof that serves their speciality fruit daiquiris, margaritas and martinis. Apparently they only have Japanese bartenders
(for which I did not managed to clarify) and they are promoting fruit liquors as their main drinks. The bar has great view of the Singapore city skylines. Very much like drinking in the Singapore Flyer capsule except that you are not moving and that you do not need to pay $25 to sit inside the capsule to enjoy the view. Orgo is a place more for chilling out and catching up with your friends then a place to party. Like I said before, it's pretty new so there aren't many people lounging around the area. It can get kind of cosy especially if you have more than 8 friends with you for then which you are entitled to sit inside one of their air-conditioned glass rooms filled with plushed sofas and gorgeous chandeliers.

I've gota go. Do check out the places mentioned if you have the time. Especially Orgo for a nice chill out location. =)
